- We answer your questions via email, phone, in-person – however they are asked.
- We have a Resources page that offers definitions, commonly used forms and other useful information available 24/7.
- From May to November we have seminars that you are welcome to attend to learn about specific business topics. We also are always open for suggestions. What you do want to learn about? We host the seminars, but also bring in guest speakers from other industries such as banking, coaching, IT and other resources that would help you as a business owner.
Our goal is to provide you with accurate financial statements on a periodic basis. The frequency is decided upon in one of our first meetings. Whether you need updated information on a weekly basis or quarterly basis, or sometimes on a project basis (for example when getting a loan) we can help you.
When you first start with Bamboo Bookkeeping, we will establish a schedule for both sides. In order to have the financials back to you in a timely fashion, we need your help getting your documents by a certain date each month. Since no two businesses are the same, this is reviewed in our initial consultation. It’s easy to gather documents if you only have one bank. But we understand many small business owners have more than one bank and maybe several credit cards. We want to give you time to gather everything.
We are often asked what software is the best to use. The answer to that is “it depends.” We discuss this with all of our clients. We look at budget, access requirements, functionality desires and then make the best choice. Some of the popular ones are QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Freshbooks or maybe just an Excel spreadsheet. We can help you make that decision.
